On one collaborative trip (Harvard and Princeton are among the co-sponsors), Mikhail Gorbachev, Lech Walesa, former Defense Secretary William Perry, and other former world leaders will spend at least part of a 12-day cruise in the Baltic Sea with 180 travelers next June. Presentations will focus on the evolution of the region from the Cold War to the dissolution of the Soviet Union. It costs nearly $10,000, but sitting poolside with people who changed the world could be considered priceless.
